Plain Dealer Friday Magazine "Before my daughter got her driver's license, the constant whine was "there's no place to go." That was back when I was convinced her future lay in slot machines - not playing them, but being one, because her eyes were constantly rolling, as if my every word was a nickel in her disgust slot. I wish we'd had something like what's opening tonight in the Comfort Inn banquet room at 7701 Reynolds Road in Mentor. From 7 to 11 p.m., it's The Hot Zone, a teen dance club designed for kids in grades six through nine. And it's not like you have to drive out there, then drive back to pick 'em up: They've got an adult waiting room. Admission for the kids is $10 and includes all the soda you can drink. Call 1-800-838-0414 or check www.clubhotzone.com on the Web." Chuck Yarborough 11/28/03 The Cleveland Plain Dealer
ABOUT THE HOT ZONE
The Hot Zone is an interactive experience for young adults (students in grades
6-9). The Hot Zone provides a safe, fun place for teens to come dance, hang
out with friends and win contests and games. General admission is $10 and includes
unlimited pop and the chance to win awesome prizes nightly! Snacks and food
will be available for purchase in addition to glow products and other Hot Zone
gear.
The Hot Zone will never be the same experience twice. We have theme nights
and new events going on every night, so become a regular and make the Hot Zone
in Mentor your official place to be. Plus dont forget to check out photos from
the club on our site and share them with your friends!
The Hot Zone is also the first teen club designed especially for teens with
parents in mind. No longer will you have to drive a long distance to get your
son or daughter to the movies, teen club or other Friday night activity and
then come all the way back later. The Hot Zone is providing parents with a comfortable
lounge to relax in while their teen is having a good time in a safe environment.
